At NAIL FIX in THE 6IX, we are passionate about the nail industry and offer an upbeat and modern work environment that specializes in Manicures, Pedicures, Nail Design and Gel Nail Enhancements. Our team is friendly, engaging and demonstrates a great work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

We are hiring seasonal, part-time and full-time Nail Pros who can provide the highest quality service to our clientele at our Scarborough and Fairview locations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performing Manicures, Pedicures, Gel Nail Enhancements and Nail Design.

• Daily maintenance of the salon including but not limited to; sweeping, mopping, refilling products, garbage removal, checking clients in and out and scheduling appointments

Requirements:

• Precise cuticle work
• Natural nail shaping
• Shellac and regular polish applications/removals
• French and basic nail art
• Dry/Russian Manicure and Pedicure (very detailed and clean)
• Great customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Valid certificate, 1 year experience is preferred
• Gel Nail Enhancements including Gel Overlays and Gel Extensions with tips and forms and use of an electronic file is considered an asset
• Nail Design using crystals, 3D decals and hand painted designs is considered an asset

• Tips distributed daily, in cash
• Competitive pay; have the ability to make a minimum of $15.50 to $19.50 per hour – depending on experience, a higher rate will be provided. Salary plus commission is available for full-time and advanced nail services.
